Our accommodation is curiously found at 91 Bayview Drive in Port Clements, the very same address (granted 4 meters higher) as Bayview Market, our local grocery store.
The top floor of the historic building contains 7 beds in two rooms (two beds are doubles). The back lawn takes up 2 city lots and can hold many tents and happy folks.
Nights run $25 per person, with discounts available for week long stays ($125) Group rates are negotiable.
The hostel has internet, a full kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub/shower, as well as a washer/drier, a pool table, a foosball table, a ping pong table, satalight TV (which often show’s hockey and rugby games) a smoking covered area on the outside porch with BBQ, an ocean side property with firepit looking over the marina, and a music room complete with D’jambes, guitars, rattels, and other music making nik-naks.
We run guided tours throughout Haida Gwaii from Port Clements, through the Yakoun watershed to Juskatla, and around the islands, tours are run by foot, kayak, canoe, and jeep. Accommodation is free with a booked tour to allow easy access to the wilderness come morning.
We are located on the second floor, a steep set of stairs exists just past the middle door above.
Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible.
